| SEAS offers a variety of Undergraduate,
Master's, Graduate
Certificate, Professional and Doctoral programs. The mission of SEAS is
to prepare our graduates to meet the technological challenges of the
twenty-first
century. To fulfill this mission, SEAS maintains modern curricula,
extensive
computer facilities, and a wide variety of engineering
laboratories.
Undergraduate and graduate admissions are each handled
differently in
SEAS. The University Admissions Office, as part of the standard
undergraduate
admissions process, handles undergraduate admissions. The SEAS
Admissions
department, located in Tompkins Hall, handles graduate
admissions.
Important Information for International Students:
The George Washington University cannot admit you or
send you a student
visa document (I-20 or DS-2019) until you have submitted financial
certification
showing sufficient funds to pay for your educational expenses.
The
process to obtain a student visa from a U.S. consulate abroad usually
takes
at least three months. For this reason, we strongly recommend
that
you submit your financial certificate when you send in the rest of your
application materials.
