The medical preparation option leads to a bachelor's degree in
mechanical engineering and prepares the student for application to medical
school. The student is also prepared to work in research and development or
to pursue graduate study in the fields of biomechanics and biotechnology.
Students pursuing medical preparation and applying to medical school should
consult the SEAS representative to the University's premedical committee.
